JACK BERGAMINO
Inspired by New York City and its architectural mix of old and new Jack Bergamino’s style delivers a warm, modernist aesthetic to showrooms, window displays, retail spaces, private residences, and office interiors. With his signature "no rules" approach, Jack draws on over 20 years of experience in the fashion and home industries. Combining texture and tone, fine craftsmanship, and a touch of the unexpected, he can tailor unique spaces for each brand or client on time and on budget.
He served as the head of visuals for fashion icon Paul Smith for over a decade, overseeing the design of the firm's seasonal showrooms, windows, and shop-in-shops at Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, and Holt Renfrew. He was the visual merchandiser of other notable brands, including Turnbull & Asser, Thomas Pink, Banana Republic, and William Sonoma.
In 2017, Jack founded his firm 412 Design by Jack Bergamino and created the public spaces at Shopbop's New York HQ. He imagined Instagram walls for the UK-based fast-fashion retailer boohoo.com, invigorating their event spaces. Since then, he has expanded his residential work from private clients to working with the New York-based real estate group MG Capital. He designed the firm’s Investor Center in West Chelsea, a hub for programmed art events and private dinners. He also staged and oversaw the construction of 18 luxury units, serving as manager of the tenant experience, and consistently delivering on investment. More recently, Jack has worked with the luxury construction firm Arcon, overseeing and project managing the design of multiple private residences and a restaurant project.
"A well-designed space has the power to spark the imagination and renew the spirit. It presents an entry into the life you want and celebrates the one that you've built along the way."
Jack's work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times and Women's Wear Daily. He resides in New York.
